Push Someone

Yeah, the title sounds weird. But yeah, push someone. Good morning beautiful people. Hope your night was splendid because mine was superb. So yesterday, I went to church for Night of Worship and something remarkable happened just as I stepped out of the church compound. The addictive me was pressing her phone, chatting obviously. I was bumping into people but I kept saying 'Sorry' each time that happened. I was, in a way subconscious of the little 'drains/ditches' up ahead. I was fixated on my phone, like there was something I would get out of the chat. Just when I thought I had had it all for the night, a lady pushed me. It was not like she bumped into me from the side or anything. She pushed me with her open palm. I was not angry at first because I thought she was 'one of those people' you meet on the street. I looked up ahead and there was a hole in the ground which I would have fallen into had she not pushed me. I looked at her and said, 'Thank you'....

The Mismatch

Good morning beautiful people. Trust you had a beautiful weekend and a splendid night. So today I'll be talking about matching your lifestyle with your attitude and all. But before that, let me share this story with you.  Bimpe had always wondered why her parents never for once trusted her. As far as she was concerned, she was a good girl. Her parents were clergies and they expected nothing short of perfection from her. She pretended not to care but deep down, she was always sad. In school, Bimpe would wear trousers, makeup, skimpy dresses and even go to clubs which were all against Biblical injunctions according to her parents. Her parents 'caged' her so much she felt she needed some freedom. When she gained admission into the University, she found the gateway to freedom that instant. Back at home, Bimpe reduced her dressing to just trousers and make up. Her parents would forever complain about this and even claim she is a 'disgrace' to the ethics they uphold as ...

The eX Factor

Hi guys! So yesterday I decided to dust and clean up my blog which I have 'abandoned' for some months now. It's for the good of us all. I promised to post today something very interesting and probably, debatable. The topic for today's discuss is 'The eX factor', as stated above. Most teenagers and even youths have at least one ex-boyfriend or girlfriend and in most cases, some people can't seem to deal with break-ups, emotional trauma, psychological disorder and 'the eX factor'. This simply means, keeping up with your ex can be quite tasking and frustrating. So today, I'll drop a few tips on how to deal with break-ups and your EX.
Phewww....so loong! I feel the emptiness in here. It's been quite long. I really have been busy, work and all, running around. Sorry I haven't met up with your expectations of beautiful love stories and heart related issues to deal with. I promise you there will be a post tomorrow and the topic is super interesting...trust me. So again I apologize for the long wait. It was a blessing in disguise. New post tomorrow. Goodnight beautiful people!

The Widow, The Divorcee and The Single Mother: The Finale

Hi there! The widow, divorcee and single mother series is finally ending today. I must say honestly this has been the most interesting topic on my blog, according to me. I have seen 'that side' of the honourable gentlemen in the house. Lol, so enjoy this closing post and please please please leave a comment. A Widow- No! Because she has been married before A divorcee- No! Same reason as the prior, I can even consider marrying a widow but definitely not a divorcee. A good woman, not married but has a child- Yes, because the child might have come around through any means so it doesn't really matter. But if she happens to be a divorcee with a child, then no. But other than that, yes I can marry her ( @Eniolajr_ ) A widow- No, it does not just feel appropriate A divorcee- No, because it holds in it signs of instability in the marriage in times ahead. A good woman who is not married but has a child- No, I don't think I can cope with the disparity between myself and ...

The Widow, The Divorcee and The Single Mother

Hello there! Yesterday I started the widow, divorcee and single mother series. I really hope you enjoyed that of yesterday because today's post promises to be insightful and funny. Enjoy! Ayomide Wey said, 'Of all, I would go for a good woman who is not married but has a child (ie the single mother). I am very very selective actually. So a divorcee, NO. Because I would be having thoughts of her still liking her ex-hubby. A widow, I fit dey fear o!' ( @mide_wey ) Chris Rio said, 'Well, I will choose a widow and a single mother. No divorcee please! And that is purely based on sentiments' ( @ChrisRio_ ) Raynard Omongbale said, 'It depends. There are so many things you need to look out for, like the child's age, his willingness to have a new guardian and other things like that. A woman is preferred amongst others because of her attitude, character and responsibilities. She must have real intentions. But there is no such thing as a good woman. There are a l...

The Widow, The Divorcee and The Single Mother

Hi everyone. Today's topic is quite weird and  reactive. The question here is, 'Can you marry a widow, a divorcee or a good woman who is not married but has a child (in other words, a single mother). Remember, my last series featured ladies who talked about what inspired them. This series will feature the gentlemen of the house, lol. So this is the 1st part, I really can't tell how many parts it will end up in because the topic seems more than interesting to me and even those that have voiced out their opinions on this issue feel the same way about it. Enjoy! Rotimi Okungbaye said, 'I don't know about marrying a divorcee. If her husband is still alive, the Bible is against divorce. I can marry a widow because there is nothing holding her down. She is sober and it is not against Biblical injunctions. A good woman with a child, it's fine. If there are no ties binding.' ( @OkungbayeRotimi ) Adebiyi Wajud said, 'I can, if she loves me as much as I love h...
