The Widow, The Divorcee and The Single Mother: The Finale

Hi there! The widow, divorcee and single mother series is finally ending today. I must say honestly this has been the most interesting topic on my blog, according to me. I have seen 'that side' of the honourable gentlemen in the house. Lol, so enjoy this closing post and please please please leave a comment. A Widow- No! Because she has been married before A divorcee- No! Same reason as the prior, I can even consider marrying a widow but definitely not a divorcee. A good woman, not married but has a child- Yes, because the child might have come around through any means so it doesn't really matter. But if she happens to be a divorcee with a child, then no. But other than that, yes I can marry her ( @Eniolajr_ ) A widow- No, it does not just feel appropriate A divorcee- No, because it holds in it signs of instability in the marriage in times ahead. A good woman who is not married but has a child- No, I don't think I can cope with the disparity between myself and ...

The Widow, The Divorcee and The Single Mother

Hello there! Yesterday I started the widow, divorcee and single mother series. I really hope you enjoyed that of yesterday because today's post promises to be insightful and funny. Enjoy! Ayomide Wey said, 'Of all, I would go for a good woman who is not married but has a child (ie the single mother). I am very very selective actually. So a divorcee, NO. Because I would be having thoughts of her still liking her ex-hubby. A widow, I fit dey fear o!' ( @mide_wey ) Chris Rio said, 'Well, I will choose a widow and a single mother. No divorcee please! And that is purely based on sentiments' ( @ChrisRio_ ) Raynard Omongbale said, 'It depends. There are so many things you need to look out for, like the child's age, his willingness to have a new guardian and other things like that. A woman is preferred amongst others because of her attitude, character and responsibilities. She must have real intentions. But there is no such thing as a good woman. There are a l...

The Widow, The Divorcee and The Single Mother

Hi everyone. Today's topic is quite weird and  reactive. The question here is, 'Can you marry a widow, a divorcee or a good woman who is not married but has a child (in other words, a single mother). Remember, my last series featured ladies who talked about what inspired them. This series will feature the gentlemen of the house, lol. So this is the 1st part, I really can't tell how many parts it will end up in because the topic seems more than interesting to me and even those that have voiced out their opinions on this issue feel the same way about it. Enjoy! Rotimi Okungbaye said, 'I don't know about marrying a divorcee. If her husband is still alive, the Bible is against divorce. I can marry a widow because there is nothing holding her down. She is sober and it is not against Biblical injunctions. A good woman with a child, it's fine. If there are no ties binding.' ( @OkungbayeRotimi ) Adebiyi Wajud said, 'I can, if she loves me as much as I love h...

So here is the list of the people or persons that inspire me: -God, the ultimate creator and inspiration. -My parents, especially my Mum who remind me constantly that there is no boundary or limit to what I can achieve in life. -Mr Dola Bamgboye, my mentor and life coach. I learnt the SWOT method from him in 2009.... -Omotola Slasha of Koga TV, who tells me over and over again that I can achieve whatever it is I have in mind. -Praise Adejo, ...

What Inspires You?

Hi everyone, bright day isn't it? So, today I'll continue the 'Who inspires you?' series. In case you missed out on the first two, check them  here  and  here . Today's story will be featuring a make up artiste who is also a chemical engineer in the making. Enjoy! Hi, my name is Princess Ogele (some people call me Pessa, long story). So minus studying Chemical Engineering, I wanted to have a few tricks in the bag so I went for styling and makeup. Some months ago, I went to a make up school (MUD) and I have a certificate. I'm not much of a makeup person for myself but for others, I'm down for it. Also, I've got a little desire in the fashion side, I love playing dress up, trying new things and widening my boundaries in fashion. It's just that the money aspect.... So here is a list of the people that inspire me. -My Mum and Dad; they push me to always exceed my limits and never stop daring myself. -Solange Knowles inspires me in the fashion a...

What inspires you?

Hello beautiful people. Thank God it's Friday! So, for the next few posts, I'll be putting up stories of people who do what they love to do best, their inspiration and how they continue in that line they have chosen. The first is Mercy Okpanachi... Hi! My name is Mercy Sophia Okpanachi. I am a huge music freak (any genre), a huge nerd too. I am so in love with Sprite and Five Alive (you could bribe me easily with them). I am also very shy and quiet. Well, I basically love to draw and paint. It feels like putting memories into a portrait, putting emotions to life, more like telling a story. The people who inspire me are -My mother (because she is a hard worker and multitasking) -Timberland (awesome producer ever) -Joyce Meyer -Hilda Labafilo -Janelle Monae -Audu Maikori (CEO of Chocolate City) Yeah...that's all basically. Doing what you love doing can be frustrating and annoying at times but the inspiration and passion keeps me going. My advice? Just keep doing ...
