The Joy of Motherhood

Hello beautiful people. Trust you're doing good. It's mother's day and I just thought of sharing something here. I am not a mother yet but from my observations about the world around me, there's nothing as fulfilling as the joy of motherhood. Every girl in her own special way is a mother, even if she practically doesn't have a baby yet. A mother looks out for her own, protects and shields. I personally think mothers should be the next authority after God and Jesus. Mothers are nation builders. The Female Presidential aspirant, Professor Oluremi Sonaiya recently came to my school to honour an invite to a public lecture. From the little speech she gave, I could decipher the agony of a mother at her indisposed child (Nigeria literally), the need to effect change in our society and the need to be super active as youths. She didn't speak about her ambition or political intention(I loved that about her). Okay, I'm not talking politics here but the need to appre...

How To Make Your Perfumes Last Longer

Perfumes are essentials! We all want to look good and smell nicely at the same time. Trust me, smelling good is enticing. How to make the perfume last longer?  Spray your clothes with the perfume before ironing it. I learnt this from a friend and I've tried it out. I really really helps. Spraying your perfume on the clothe and ironing it in makes it last longer than it naturally would.  Apply perfume to pressure points! Your pressure points are behind your ears, your inside elbow, inside wrist, base of your throat and inside knee. That sounds weird, I know. This picture should help you out;  Don't rub your wrists together after applying your perfume. A lot of people tend to do that, it's the norm. I get, but it's not advisable. Most people won't apply the perfume to the insides of their wrist because they feel they'll wash it off...yeah. You actually tend to wash it off...anytime you wash your hands obviously.  Use a very nice body spray to com...

The SUITable Man

An average Nigerian man pays little or no attention to how he dresses or what he wears. But as the saying goes, as you're dressed so you will be addressed....or thereabouts. Suits have been in vogue sine the advent of time, if I must say. So, it's not a new thing. There are MeN and there are MEN. The ones who stand out and the ones who don't. I am not saying suits make you stand out. I am saying being and staying classy, as a man, makes you stand out. Here is a guide to suits and how to wear them; The first thing you should note is, wear what is suitable for you. Don't discomfort yourself just because you want to wear something that will make you look classy. No! Wear what makes you feel comfortable and probably what you can afford. Secondly, when wearing suits you should buy what matches your skin colour. Don't wear dull colours if you are really dark in complexion and don't wear bright colours if God has naturally made you bright. Wear what compliments y...
