FIYIN GAMBO: THE BRAIN BEHIND CLIQ PHOTOGRAPHY

 Born on the 22nd of February in the late '90s into a family of 6, Gambo Fiyinfoluwa Joshua hails from Adamawa, Northern Nigeria. Fiyin started off his academic career at Kabma-F, then Kingdom Heritage Model School, El-Amin, Home Science, Upper Field, Murtala Mohammed Airport Secondary School, and now Covenant University where he studies Civil Engineering.

A unique and innovation-bound leader, Fiyin is the brain behind CLiQ Media. 'I am a conservative person. But at the same time a diplomatic and charismatic personality. He loves innovating and daring the unthinkable which is why he strives for perfection at whatever he does. 


Gambo developed an interest in photography in his late high school days. He always loved to take pictures with a particular group of friends and the name 'CLiQ' came forth.
'Photography for me has been an exhilarating experience. I love being with the camera but I prefer motion pictures.' At Covenant University, he started officially. 'It has been a wonderful and fun-filled experience I must say. But life is not a bed of roses you know. 
Fashion sense? 'I have a high taste for quality. I dress to look good, in the egalitarian style. I am so in love with colors, double-breasted blazers, plain shirts, and classy shoes. I love brands; Sergio, Polo Ralph Lauren, Haute Look, and Hilfiger to mention a few. 





Currently, in his second year, Fiyin sees a CLiQ media of the ILM standard. He detests ingrates, lazy fellows, and people who can't be trusted. 'I love watching movies for leisure and playing video games or just taking a stroll. I am not a sports fan,' he says. For him, Covenant University has been a very good platform for his photography skills as he has learned from top-notch photographers. Fiyin still sees this period as a training process and is willing to learn more. 'My arms are open. I have the best team at CLiQ media and we dare to be different. I couldn't have asked for more.'


With role models such as Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, and Steve Jobs, Fiyin Gambo is a successful entrepreneur and puts God before every other thing.

January 22nd, 2021 I was on my way home from work when my brother called. He asked for our family -read government- hospital card number. It was a very odd question because my dad had retired -as a civil worker- and we no longer used the card for consultation. In fact, we had been told on several occasions that they had taken his card 'off the shelf'. Besides my brother had his own card at the same hospital, being a government staff. The Stranger

Photo by Artur Tumasjan on Unsplash ‘Let me help you out.’ I hear the voice call.  I look up to see the brightest smile I have ever seen on a human. Her face is elegant, shiny, and well-structured. She must have seen me struggling with my one too many bags. I love the gesture, so lovely and pure. Genuine and selfless. She has just one box with her and a small bag slung across her chest. She looks happy. I wonder why. ‘You look like you have a lot going on’, she continues. ‘I really do’, I reply with genuine happiness and laughter. ‘Thank you very much,’ I continue in gratitude as I hand over my largest box to her. She looks willing to help, her hand is already stretched out to help. Her offer to help warms my heart. Not often do you meet someone who genuinely wants to help you out with your bags at the airport. At least not here. I rarely get help as much as I get looks and compliments from strangers.
